Approach to Treatment
I approach therapy with the utmost respect for individual differences, cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs, and social experiences. I utilize an integrative, individualized treatment approach, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and family systems theories. My approach to treatment is to assist clients in developing personal treatment goals and planning treatment toward the achievement of these goals. I strive to empower clients to make changes that will enhance their lives.
I also have an expertise in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based treatment, used to process past experiences, gain insight, and make changes that will enhance your quality of life. TF-CBT helps people heal from past experiences, so they can develop more connected relationships and live in the present.
